The Importance of Composting

Compositing Blog

Composting is extremely important as it impacts on the future sustainability of agriculture. Conventional farming played an important role in improving food productivity to meet human demands. Composting is nature’s way of recycling.

Our microbial fermentation technology biodegrades mixed organic waste and converts it to a valuable living fertilizer. Our compost is made with locally-sourced ingredients including cow manure, hardwood sawdust and cereal husk. Sourcing locally and using microbial fermentation allows us to keep production costs down. Compost is monitored for temperature and turned accordingly over a 12-16 week period.

Ag-Plus have been supplying quality compost to our clients for 16 years. AgPlus can arrange everything from transport to spreading in a turn-key operation.
